A Note from the PrincipalDear Thorson Families, Thank you to all who donated toys or money to the Kapco Kids 2 Kids Toy Drive. The generosity of our school community is truly amazing. We collected $630 and have many toys to contribute to this great cause. We also thank our Student Council advisors and student members. They did a great job leading this service project. In PTO news, the PTO is currently running their Bundt Cake Sale. Order forms are due tomorrow and can be found here. These cakes would make a wonderful holiday gift. Also, the next PTO meeting is on Monday, December 11 at 5:00 p.m. in the community room. Please note that this time is different than normal. Finally, please be sure to check out the PTO December Newsletter, which has information regarding the upcoming “Parents Night Out Event” on February 3. Tomorrow is our next December themed Friday. Students and staff are encouraged to wear flannel! Next Friday (11/15) is “ugly sweater day”. Tomorrow is also an Early Release Day! All K5-5th Grade Students will be dismissed at 1:45. PTO-Bundt Cake Fundraiser The Thorson PTO is so excited to be partnering again this year with Nothing Bundt Cakes! As always, this fundraiser is completely optional for our families, but these Bundt Cakes are certainly delicious and perfect for holiday gatherings and gifts! Small bundlets as well as 8" and 10" cakes are available to order - including a Peppermint Chocolate Chip flavor! Hosting? Attending? Coworker gift? Neighbor gift? Check it off your list!
This year, orders can be placed electronically via this link, with payment available as PayPal, cash or check. Orders must be completed and submitted by Friday, December 8th. Pre-orders only—no purchases will be available on the day of pickup.
