A Note from the PrincipalDear Thorson Families, Happy Homecoming Week! In honor of CHS homecoming, we will be having Bulldog Day at Thorson tomorrow. Students and staff are encouraged to wear orange and black or Bulldog gear to school on Friday! We also invite all to attend the homecoming parade at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow and the football game at 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there! If you have a change in going home plans for your child, please send a note with your child at the beginning of the school day. If there is a last minute change after 2:30, please call the school office at 262-376-6700 instead of emailing. The office is very busy at the end of the day and does not always get to email during this time. Thank you for your help with this so we can ensure that everyone gets to the correct place after school! Thorson is a busy place at drop-off and pick-up time. Please be sure to drive slowly and be extra aware of pedestrians and bikers at these times. The safety of our students, staff, and families is a top priority!As a reminder, our drop-off and pick-up procedures can be found here. Calling all community members who work in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and math! We are looking for presenters for our Girls in STEAM club for 3rd-5th grade girls. Ms. Kestell, Mrs. Kowalkowski, and Mrs. McGlone are back for another year of Active Jaguars but this year we are kicking this club off in the fall! This club provides students in the 4th and 5th grade with an opportunity to be active through fun and fitness activities and games. This club will encourage students to cooperate, team build, set personal goals, and practice good sportsmanship.
