Johnny Appleseed Day!

 

Hooray!  We celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day in Kindergarten!  We had such a fun time learning about apples and about Johnny Appleseed.  

Our classrooms were all set up for a fun day!

We read a story about how apples grow.

We practiced reading color words- red, yellow, and green.  These are the colors of apples!

We made apple projects.

We got to test out different kinds of apples.  Red, yellow, and green!  We had an extra special treat of dipping them in caramel sauce.  Thank you to all the families that provided us with the apples, plates, caramel, napkins, and juice.  The students loved the special treat today!
